Project "The freedom from AIDS run"

The Freedom from AIDS Run was conceived as an edition of the annual Freedom from hunger run, a charitable march whose earnings are assigned to noble purposes of feeding the hungry. We want use with this fine Kenyan tradition to inspire Poles to start a similar initiative.

To make it more attractive we resolved to ensure:
ˇ Participation of Paul Tergat, - Kenyan athlete and world marathon record holder, winner of London and Berlin marathons and 5 time world cross country champion.
ˇ For the best possibility to run in Kenya's athletic meeting
The Freedom from AIDS Run will be a mass event which enables people form Poland and Kenya as well to jointly collect funds which aimed purposely to finance research and prophylactic work on AIDS. There will be a marathon race both in Warsaw and Nairobi. We are planning to invite Polish organizations fighting against AIDS, as well Polish and Kenya sports organizations to cooperate with us and make the event successful.
