KENYANS LIVING IN POLAND: JIMMY OMOLO PRESENTS HIS INNOVATIVE PORTAL ON AFRICA: AFRYKACONNECT!

As an association of Kenyans living in Poland, we watch with interest how they find their way in life. We have pleasure to inform, that one of our Kenyan colleagues, a member of the Kenyan-Polish Forum - Jimmy Omolo, established a new portal on Africa: afrykaconnect. This is not the first site on this domain, but - as Jimmy stresses - the only one of its kind: "When other portals highlight negative aspects (wars, deceases, poverty etc.), mine presents only positive sides of life (development, contributions of diasporas in their host countries, cultural richness etc.)". Our Kenyan colleague established afrykaconnect this month having no shareholders, but he cooperates with some professional journalists. He has also gained his experience in this domain having featured in various journals here in Poland. For whom did he establish the portal? As he explains: "My website has been created for Africans and people interested in Africa in general. I want to cooperate with anybody who would like to act in this domain, even with African missions abroad. My portal creates the substantial bridge between Europe and Africa, providing with unique information."
