On mid-November we visited Zachodniopomorskie province to present a series of lectures on Kenya. We had meetings with youth from junior high schools (Drawsko Pomorskie, Czaplinek, Kalisz Pomorski, Wierzchowo), kindergartens and primary schools (Świerczyna) and prisoners from the penitentiary complex in Wierzchowo. The lectures directed to youth were held in libraries, where we spoke about ethnic diversity of Africa and Kenya itself. Then, presenting an example of the famous Maasai people we presented a cultural richnes of one chosen tribe among thousands in Africa. We showed pictures, handicraft and shared our reminiscences from 2008, when we were given opportunity to live in a Maasai village named Maji Moto. Everyone could get acquainted with Maasai customs, clothes, food, religion, childhood, becoming adult, relations between women and men... The youth from Drawsko district astonished us with their knowledge and interest in Africa. The meetings bore fruits of unique reminiscences and hope to come back to all the visited towns in future.

During the visit in penitentiary complex located in Wierzchowo we presented a film which tells story of a former criminal and prisoner named Andrzej. After having passed his sentence he moved out to Kenya to implement our projects. He built there a school and... a police station. Our listeners were very interested in launching a similar cooperation in future. It is worth stressing that they were also very interested in Africa and posed many questions. At the very end they arranged an interview with KPF's representatives (Marta and Bartek) which will be presented in their newspaper and internal TV.

We would like to thank very much for all the invitations and warmly greet the Drawsko district!
