POLISH MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS SUPPORTS ANOTHER POLISH PROJECT IN KENYA
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the results of the grant competition for development projects to be implemented in the year 2009. We have the pleasure of informing you that like in the last few years, a Polish Aid Project will be financed in Kenya this year as well.
The grant was given to the Poland-East Africa Economic Foundation (PEAEF). We represented the organization last year who implemented two projects in Harambee Land. They built a water dam in Uuni village (Machakos province) as well as renovated and equipped the Rise and Shine Primary School in Kawangware slums, Nairobi. This year our colleagues will be building a Vocational Empowering and Social Integration Center for street children – also at Kawangware slums. We will keep you informed of our progress and ……. we keep our fingers crossed.
