KENYANS ARE WINNING THE SEMI-MARATHON IN WARSAW
On Sunday 30th March there took place next editoion of the Warsaw Semi-Marathon. The race was starting on Karowa Str., lead through the city centre, Praga and Powiśle, and ended on Dobra Str. We have pleasure to announce, that as usually, the competition has been dominated by Kenyans. The winner was Michael Koronei, who won the Warsaw event third time in his life, even breaking his life record. The second place was for another citizen of the harambee country - Joel Komen.
The Africans were struggling not only with their competitors. They were very surprised by Polish weather. As it is reported by Onet.pl portal, the Ethiopians did not even take appropriate clothes. One of them said: "It was first time in my life to see snow, I have not ever been in any country, where air temperature is 0 degrees or even less”.
Nevertheless the Kenyans lived up to expectations, defeating weather and all the competitors.
