Between June 14 and 16, 2007, the Kenya Tourist Board, the Kenyan national tourism council, will visit Warsaw. It is worth mentioning that KTB has been to Poland before once – last year, during a tour of Eastern European which lasted several days. Their current visit is aimed at promoting the Kenyan tourism. The event is organized is the Kenyan-Polish Forum.

During the first two days (June, 14-15), individual meetings in a narrow circle with the media will take place. On the second day of the Kenya Tourist Board’s visit in Warsaw, the Kenyan Evening will also take place. It will be an event for a larger number of media representatives. During the Evening, there will be many presentations about Kenya, speeches introducing the Kenyan tourism offer to the Polish journalists, as well as a number of unofficial conversations aimed at establishing new contacts and developing the already-existing relationships.

The happening which will be made the most public will be the event organized on 16.06.2007 in the Golden Terraces in Warsaw. All visitors who come to the above shopping center between 12pm and 7pm will have the opportunity to listen to a drum concert, see a photo exhibition of Gonia Zduńczyk from the Africapoint gallery, participate in contests and learn about making safari photos.

The key element of this event, however, will be the Maasai’s visit to Warsaw!!! Our guests, wearing their traditional costumes, will present a half-hour dance show in the Golden Terraces and compete with Polish volunteers during a high jump contest. The entire event will be conducted by an African master of ceremonies.

Being the organizers, the Kenyan-Polish Forum will also be there, of course.
